Adult Swim’s Voting Campaign
A network-led voting campaign built with independent animators during election season.
Role & Scope
Network-side Creative Direction
Co-conceived the campaign concept with the Adult Swim internal team, shaping a tone that felt authentic to the network rather than traditional PSA messaging. Curated and collaborated with a group of independent animators to create a range of expressive, artist-driven films unified by a single campaign idea.
Led the visual and brand system — defining the graphic language, typography, transitions, and framing that connected disparate films into a cohesive whole. Personally animated one of the hero spots, contributing directly to the creative output while helping define the tone of the overall campaign.
Team: Adult Swim in-house team + independent animators
Adult Swim’s voting campaign aimed to cut through the noise of a saturated election season by rejecting traditional PSA formats. Instead of repetition or urgency, the campaign focused on empathy, humor, and lived experience — meeting the audience where they already were.
By centering independent artists and unexpected visual approaches, the work felt personal rather than prescriptive, encouraging participation in a way that stayed true to Adult Swim’s voice and relationship with its audience.
